We start this year with reflection upon the last.
2018 was a fab year for Cottenham United Colts.
We has a U8 Team and two U7 Teams enter the Cambs FA Leagues.
We built a thriving Wildcats Soccer School with over 50 girls and participated in the April Girls Football week.
Our U14 girls are going from strength to strength and really getting a reputation as a hard working team.
Included two additional training sessions for Colts players including Monday night soccer school and Thursday night Goalkeeper Training.
We had a successful and fun Cottenham Colts Tournament in May.
In August we received a full FA Health check and passed!
We grew as a club and as a result worked with Rampton PC to create some new pitches.
Was ball boys/girls at some Cambridge United Games.
Started a new competitive girls team for school years 3-7.
Made a few appearances in the Cambridge News.
Our two U10 teams were in a local derby and showed true sportsman ship and represented our club in a honourable way.
Our U13s represented our club at Cambridge United Footsall by being flag bearers and ball boys.
We were included in the centurion Remembrance Parade and laid a wreath, many of our teams wore poppies on their kits and held a respectful minutes silence.
We held a fundraising stall at the Christmas Carol Service and raffled off luxury hampers and we were selected as a co-op community charity.
AND we had some awesome sponsors who purchased our teams new kits.
It was a really fab year.
We want to say a HUGE thank you to all of our players, coaches, parents, mini super fans, referees and sponsors a Happy New Year.
We hope to start a U6 team around Easter so keep an eye on this page and our FB page. If you are interested in becoming a coach please let us know. :-)
2019 we are so ready for you!
We had numerous fundraising activities including being a co-op chose charity, sold bacon rolls and raffled off some luxury hampers.
