Cottenham United Colts is pleased to announce its first European road trip. With help from Cottenham and Avrillé Twinning Associations we are partaking in the U14 Macron Cup which is organised by AS Avrillé Football Club - taking place on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th June 2025.
The club is taking 3 teams - Under-13s & 14s Boys Teams and our Under-14s Girls team. With 46 children in total from Cottenham and local villages will be having the experience of a lifetime and as a Club we are over the moon to have been able to make this happen.
Should the weekend be a success, Cottenham United Colts would like to make this a regular fixture in our football calendar and further strengthen our relationship with Avrillé, as well as give other children the opportunity to experience playing football abroad for years to come.
As such there is a cost to putting on events like this, which the club is happy to assist with, but we are looking for support from companies to sponsor the teams and help with the cost of new kit and training gear for the tournament.
