Colts Weekend Round-Up

Here is the weekly round up of team performances from all our Cottenham Colts teams from Mini-League through to the Girls League.

MINI LEAGUE TEAMS

Under-7s v Histon Hornets

A great team performance against Histon today! Lots of players getting on the score sheet. All the boys worked well together so it was a great team performance. The boys are improving each game and always putting in lots of effort. Well done!

GIRLS TEAMS

Under-10s v Haverhill

The Under-10s Girls produced another battling performance this weekend in a tight game against Haverhill. It was a very even match with end to end play, goals, saves and great teamwork all round. A terrific start to the season and the improvement in the players is there for all to see. Keep going Girls.

Under-11s [Purple] v Willingham

A great performance from the Under-11s girls today against Willingham Wolves. Excellent work rate from all our players and solid at the back to keep the good form going at the start of the season

Under-13s 2 v 0 Trumpington Tigers

Another awesome performance from the whole squad. Flossy playing full back early on and doing superbly, Midfielders hunting in packs but composed enough to play some great football. Pace all over the pitch to scare any opposition! Two more goals from Lila, but in truth, it could and perhaps should have been more. Marnie was player of the game. She's like a new signing this season. She ran all day, and only the post and some good goalkeeping prevented her from scoring. Well done, Girls!

Under-16s 3 v 1 St.Ives Rangers Colts

Another win for the Under-16s team as they dispatched St. Ives at home and kept their good form going.
