Goals shared out again and lots of energy up and down the pitch and every player playing their part.
Well done boys, very proud of you all!
Under-10s v Burwell
It was a superb cup game for our Under-10s as they faced Burwell at home.
There was lots of great teamwork on display and plenty of goals. The whole team worked well from defence to attack.

Under-9s v Chesterton Eagles
It was a great team performance from the Under-9s as the faced Chesterton.
Lots of effort from the girls as they tackled, passed and attacked well. The team is improving week on week and is starting to really play well.
Keep Improving, Girls!!
Under-11s v Over Sports
The girls were back in league this weekend against their old rivals, Over.
It's always a great game and this one did not disappoint. There were goals, saves, tackles, end to end action as both teams gave everything and put on a great game for the spectators.
Although the result was not what the girls wanted, they put maximum effort in today's game and we cannot ask anymore.
Great effort, Girls!!

Under-12s [Purple] 2 v 0 Cambourne Town
Another week, another away fixture, this time a bit closer to home against Cambourne Whites.
The first half was well matched with most of the action in the middle of the pitch. Cottenham did breakthrough when Mika played in Carmen, who finished high into the top of the net for 1-0. Mika came close herself soon after but the keeper was well placed to block.
The second half was more of the same although Cottenham were more in control. But with just a goal separating the teams it was in the balance. Flo had a great effort that was picked out by the keeper, which any other day would have been a goal.
With a couple of minutes left the keeper blocked a shot from Mika but Carmen was first to react to make it 2-0, secure 3 points and get herself player of the game.
Well done everyone and the team looked smart in the new Purple kits.
Great result, Girls!!
