Cottenham United Colts Football Club is thrilled to announce an incredible opportunity for three of our teams—U13 boys, U14 boys, and U14 girls—to participate in a prestigious football tournament in France.
Thanks to the collaboration with the Cottenham Twinning Association and the Avrillé Twinning Association, we have secured a spot in the AS Avrillé FC Football Tournament, scheduled for June 7th and 8th, 2025. This marks a significant milestone for both our football club and the village of Cottenham. If this venture proves successful, we aim to make it an annual highlight in our football calendar, further enhancing our ties with Avrillé and providing more children the chance to experience international football.
However, organizing such an event comes with costs. While the club will contribute, we are seeking support from local businesses to help cover the expenses of training gear for the 47 participating children. Any additional funds raised will be directed towards the development of a new 3G pitch at Cottenham Village College, which is set to begin construction this April.
To facilitate fundraising, we plan to host a sponsor’s raffle with three exciting prizes: the first prize includes your company logo prominently displayed on the front of the training tops, while the other two winners will have their logos featured on each sleeve. In addition to the logo placement, your company will receive promotion across our extensive social media channels, reaching over 400 children and 24 teams within our club.
Raffle tickets are priced at £50 each, with only 50 tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis. We will conduct the live raffle draw on our Cottenham United Colts Facebook page once all tickets are sold.
